Alumni Megan Oldham Score 91.25 Points in the Olympic
Blyth is cheering on former Blyth Academy Waterloo student, Megan Oldham, in the Olympic Games! Megan will be competing in Beijing for the Women's Freeski Big Air Finals.
According to CBC, Megan Oldham achieved the highest qualifying score of 91.25 points and qualified first for the Olympic women's freestyle skiing large air finals.

James Newton thanks Blyth Academy for his success on the green
James Newton, an 18-year-old Ottawa local and Blyth Academy Online (BAO) student, was named Ontario Junior (U19) Boys' Champion at Whistle Bear Golf Course at the 99th Junior Boys' Golf Championship this summer. James' passion to his sport necessitates a lot of travel and international responsibilities. Balancing athletics and academics as a high school student is only achievable with flexible learning that allows for intensive training and scheduling.
