Hello Blyth Students, this October, we are celebrating breast cancer awareness month. Show your support by wearing a pink shirt (or other accessories) this Friday October 15th.
Some facts about breast cancer (2020):
It is estimated that
27,400 women are diagnosed with breast cancer (25% of all new cancer cases for 2020)
5,100 women pass from breast cancer (13% of all cancer deaths in 2020)
On average 75 Canadian women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day
On average, 14 Canadian women pass from breast cancer every day
